John and I are in the adoption process with Leah. She was in foster care from birth until almost 2 months. After her birth mother chose us to parent Leah, we had a series of transition visits with the foster parents to start bonding with Leah and to learn about her. This picture was taken at our first transition visit. We were so thrilled to finally meet and hold the baby that God had planned for us.
